A 40-acre ecotourism resort on the banks of the Croche River, Méandre invites you to experience fall in full swing in the Haute-Mauricie region! Want to take in the colours as you paddle on the water? There’s no shortage of options thanks to canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding. To add to the experience, extend your stay by glamping in a Quebec-designed, wooden “cocodome” or a minimalist micro-cabin combining comfort and modern style.
What could be more comforting than the wafting smell of bread baking as you return from a hike in the fall? Whether you'd like to take part in a bread-making workshop or simply learn more about the daily life of a miller, at the Moulin seigneurial de Pointe-du-Lac you'll discover a fascinating site and one of several attractions in the Mauricie region that explore the trades of yesteryear. The building is one of the few of its era to still have working mechanisms. Two permanent exhibitions are presented on site, the first in the flour mill and the second in the saw mill. Open daily until October 29, 2023.
